Que?
I never heard of them before. Are they the next step up from AS level?
Isn't tomorrow still summer holidays? :01:
I am not in school... its a very advanced computer course
You're not in school yet you're being schooled. Curious.Quote:

Hope this heps.
did I say I wasnt in school yet? no I said I am NOT in school... I have left school completely. and try like 30 different types of cables with diff speeds and lengths... and since you have never heard of it and you live in the UK (as I do and it is common place here) shows the extent of your capabilities, doesnt it.
A+ is an Entry Level qualification Dan..
Roughly equivalent to BTEC National Diploma (OND) I think..
For University purposes that means equivalent to 3 A'Levels for entry to a Degree/HND for a related subject, and nowt if for a degree in something else.
30 different types of cable  Wow sounds as hard as Year 6 sats, except for adults. If an A++ (yes thats two plus for extra retarded-ness) is only learning 30 different cable names, and speed im gonna do one and get A+ (only one plus this time, as im not quite as retarded as the exam)
yeah, and the cables are only like 1/70th of the exams (1 on hardware and software) which I have seen men fail and almost cry about it, haha :P
google, no?

jesus christ:rolleyes:
Your signature is a whole pixal too big, you should be banned.

You should do fine. I imagine it's little harder if you haven't been working around computers alot.
I didn't have alot of trouble. Good luck. ;)
The A+ cert It is an well respected certification awarded by CompTIA,
showing competency in troubleshooting and configuring software and
hardware.
It is not an easy test by any means. You're tested on everything from
DOS commands, to COM port IRQs and multimeter readings. Some of the
questions are ambiguous, (done on purpose) with craftily worded choices
that sound correct.
Some questions use double negatives, such as...Which of the following
files is not unnecessary during the boot process? It's easy to miss the
double negative, when in a rush to finish the test in the allotted time.
They also ask many questions that are worded with great precision.
(SO READ EVERY WORD IN THE QUESTION)
Example: Windows 95 and 98 require the WIN.INI and the SYSTEM.INI files
during the startup process to load device drivers and user options.
True or False?
The correct answer is false, because the WIN.INI file isn't required.
Windows creates a WIN.INI file if one is not found, but because the
file can be created on the fly, the file is not required. Neither does
32-bit Windows use the WIN.INI file in the same way as 16-bit
Windows. See how easy it is to skip past "require in the question.
I am now A+ certified...after two attempts. :blushing:
I smoked a big fatty right before the first test. :frusty:
Good luck, lad! :)
Peace bd
thanks mate, ill need it :blushing: hehe
I would love to see some of these ignorant fools do theirs :P
you'll do fine, just study 30 min. b4 the test/exam (only the big points), and if ur like me, try to cheat :P ;)
as for peerz, your a little bitchy today aint ya??
Today? :blink:Quote:
