20/20, but I objected to the use of the curly wurly.
I got 17 out of 20, but that's because I'm an apostrophobic (and I also didn't know the meaning of the word "Avarice")
could someone explain me the different elements
i know
simili
metaphor
but wtf are the others
they seem organical gnetic physics engenering elements
i gave up at the meaning of words bit
20/20 Terrablee eazee. :ermm:

Good job none of the words you were asked to spell had a 'u' in them.Quote:

15/20, i didn't read the question on a couple
I won't even tell ya' what I got.
I scored 13/20. God this test reminded me of High School.
Tests are so stupid, and don't mean anything. So I didn't know what Taciturn, Ostentatious, and Avarice meant, who gives a shit? Those are three words I will never ever use. So Taciturn means quiet, great. I still won't use the word, why not just say quiet? It's much easier.
It's not everyday someone comes up to you and says "Man RTJ is so Ostentatious!" Why? Because you'd say something like "Wtf are you talking about? Speak English man!"
[/Rant]
:frusty:
Well, taciturn has a different tone to it than quiet does. Ostentatious is generally used to describe things, not people (eg: ostentatious furniture).
/nitpick
Edit: //slashyslashy
:shuriken:
That was a bit of luck, getting the question mark one right.Quote:

Surprising, considering English was always one of my worst subjects. I think that was due to the fact that I was generally hell bent on proving the teachers wrong and correcting their spelling.
you lot may know the difference between a simile and a metaphor BUT do you know what the effect of the simile or metaphor is ??
thats what my english teacher is always babbling on about :D
Asking that question is like opening a can of worms.Quote:
