F.E.A.R. by far looks to be the better game IMO.
If i was given £40 a told to buy one it would be F.E.A.R hands down. Download and play the demo for yourself, it's an amazing game.
I really dig quake atm.
IMO FEAR looks really awesome...
Quake and FEAR are two different games guys... Quake is far away from realistic and defenitly not as good as FEAR seems to be.. however never forget quake's Absolutly great multiplayer which is your only companion after you finish the game :D
As for FEAR.. i played the demo and it was Great! i loved it.. however you can't really compare it with quake..
With quake you could compare games like unreal, serious sam etc where your objective is not just to kill the opponent but blow him up :D
If you pay a visit to a quake server right now you will find out what i am talking about.. even now quakers blow each other up!!!
Anw both games look to be great and i'm looking forward to play 'em both...
If i had 26 pounds right now i would go for quake IV and mainly bet on its multiplayer..

im gonna say F.E.A.R, has a nice twist and looks amazing.

Quake 4 hands down for the MP, anyone who says quake aint great, obviously hates playing online.
i totally agree with u, but i for 1 am just tired of playing quakes mp. it's the same thing pretty much since quake 1. that's great, but i'm just bored of it. so...Quote:
