i pretty much don't use it anymore, but i do if i have nothing else to dl using bt. kl has old movies and music that bt doesn't have.
Theres ares and limewire. Now frostwire would be better.
To each their own.
I only really use BT and Usenet just now, with a bit of Soulseek once in a while, for t'music.
