Usually if you're viewing a particular forum, the post titles in bold have unread posts in them.
That twister ask's more bleedin question's than me,as rick says it's means there has been a reply in the thread since you last read it
Maybe what he means is you read some new threads, browse a bit, then come back to find that they along with a few others have gone back into bold?

Yeah, I get the same problem sometimes, it seems to be that the board forgets which threads I've already viewed.
Clicking "Mark all posts as read" at the bottom of the forum usually fixes it... ;)
