Stephen King's Desperation - Tues. 8pm - ABC
I've been waiting for this for awhile. I remember reading something about scenes being cut 'cause they were to grotesque for network TV.
I also remember the cover of the book fit together to make a picture with another book of his.
The first book's title started with a 'R' and the cover was serene. It had the back half of a dog with town in the backdrop. Desperation's cover show that same dog's front half looking ferocious and the same town in anarchy.
I'll have to find a link.
edit: Funny that a TV movie (post 14), Flight 93, end up being released in the theaters.
The Regulators - Richard Bachman
then...
Desperation - Stephen King

I had the dog backwards. :idunno: Neither cover is serene either (the right is just more fucked up).
The books are alter-ego books of each other. The story is different but some of the characters are the same and/or different characters will have the same name as the other books.
Weird.
I've watched the 1st hour of Desperation and so far it's damn good.
Rather brutal.
