Does your motherboard have an AGP 4/8x slot or Pci-e express 16?
Whats the card for? No point buying a $20 card if you want to play F.E.A.R or a $400 card if you want to look at your emails.

Why buy a motherboard with onboard graphics if you intend to buy a graphics card?
In fact that onboard video looks quite good.Quote:
Onboard Video Chipset nVIDIA GeForce 6100
You have also shown me a board and chipset I wasn't aware of. New material to study! :shifty:
wait so can anyone point out a ram that would be right for me (preferablly cosair and 2X 512mb to equal 1024) for as cheap as possible and how good is that onboard graphics because i read somewhere that onboard graphics are bad
2x512MB DDR400 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145440
This is a very new motherboard with Nvidia 6100 onboard. I cannot tell you yet how good it is but it's not for extreme gaming performance but still quite good.
Here is another motherboard with even better onboard graphics: http://www.pcstats.com/releaseview.cfm?ReleaseID=1301
If you really are looking for an advanced gaming system then choose a board without onboard graphics.
well i play counterstrike 1.6 and source and some old games...im going to start playing some new games maybe like battlefield do u think i should use onboard and then later on upgrade?
What system are you used to playing with?
uh i think the answer would be xbox or windows xp
Yeah but what graphics card is in your current system that lets you play those games (preferably the whole system specs). I'm looking for a comparison here.
This might help: http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=2539
