It makes me wonder if perhaps you are a little overly friendly and they find this disturbing thereby bringing about the negative response....a sort of fight or flee reaction?

Having said that, if I were a receptionist, and I asked someone for their date of birth and they replied June 16th, then I would probably say "Yeah, but what year is that? Assturd." too... :sly:
