Took exacly a week but i still have that game today. I also downloaded like 6 divx movies and a whole bunch of more stuff.

I once downloaded the Diablo 2 Demo (135 MB) back when I had dail-up. Took a night to finish the download.
I believe it was a demo of one of Novalogic's games, can't remember which though. It was over 100MB though, but it was worth it.
A music video, I think it was Big Pimpin by Jay-Z on Kazaa Lite.

I downloaded a 600mb CD image off eMule, that was fun :dry:
Mine was a movie took days to get it too , can't remember the size tho . I'd give up computers all together if I had to go back to dial up .

The largest file I ever downloaded was a ~650 megabyte linux mandrake iso. I left the computer on overnight (paused the download with GetRight during the day). Took over a week.
But it's good to be able to grab several images in less than an hour these days.
I downloaded pretty much the whole of the first series of Lexx off emule on dial-up. It took me months! Each file was around 700 meg. I got some at work on silly speeds but I downloaded at least 6 or 7 eps at home overnight.
700mb films it would take ages,every time the wife went out i'd plug in,and overnight,she had a fit when she found out LOL

1st real thing i downloaded was zelda ocarina of time n64 rom off kazaa using dialup. took me a couple hours to download 20 mb
about 2 gigs for the suse 8.0 iso's only to find my modem would not work with suse :frusty:
It must have taken a few weeks with bt cutting my connection every 2 hours :angry:
