Graphic novels? I don't understand why they invented that term. Were they afraid someone might call them geeks or what?

a serious read? of course....we wouldnt they be? the only difference is that they have pictures ...if they didnt have pictures they would be just as good....i like that one story in batman black and white vol. 1 by brian bolland...its really short i know but its really good

i have a big colelction of various comics. Mainly due to a friend who wants me to download them. I get a list and i download if i have badnwidth to spare. I've read som batman stuff but they dont stick in my head, so i cant remember what happened in each graphic novel. But i have read the whole of Preacher which is amazing! I so wanna buy the hard copies.
Neil Gaiman's Sandman is probably the only one I've read in a while.
