The Washington Wizards
Favorite player is too hard to think of.
I like Gilbert Arenas, Lebron James, Kevin Garnett, Shaq and others.
washington aint doing to well this season unfortunately
Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves. :01:
Started out 5 and 1 and now they're just as .500.Quote:

37 points against the Raptors last game.
What's weird about them is they beat Seattle, San Antonio, AND Detroit then proceeded to lose against some bums.
Bizarro World.
lol arenas misses larry hughes i think not the same team as last season that had great success
I like the NBA less and less.
In any case, my faves are the Pistons and Ben Wallace.
I loved his comment after the Pistons won the championship a couple of years ago; a reporter asked him what it was like to play against Shaq.
Wallace told the reporter to go ask Shaq what it was like to play against him.
I'm a big fan.:D
It's hard not to like young Ben.Quote:

I know right, all the players leave Washington and get really good somewhere else... pisses me off. But one player that has awesome potential is Juan Dixon. He's young and gotta lot to learn but if he commits himself, he'll be beastly
They need to raise the basket to 12'. Then maybe it'll be worth watching more than the last 2 minutes.
Why raise the basket?Quote:

The Seattle Supersonics beat the Phoenix Suns 152 - 149.
Ray Allen won with a buzzer beater 4 steps back from the 3-point line.
The game was the biggest point total since 1995. (301)
wow, I should start watching basketball :ermm:
Shoulda watched that one.
I remember a game back in the '80s between the Pistons and the Nuggets that ended 186-183, Pistons.
Lotsa runnin' and gunnin' that night. ;)
D-D-D-D-AMN!!!:OQuote:

It's definitely more exciting than darts or baseball.
Kobe Bryant had 81 points last night, which was the second most points ever scored in a game by one player. Wilt The Stilt Chamberlin holds the record which is set at 100 points.
Says you.Quote:

What do you mean by "showin' off-football"? (confused)Quote:

I remember a coworker of mine that told me that basketball is boring. He couldn't even say why. This usually means he doesn't know the game. It's why I didn't like it, for sure.
His favorite sport on TV and otherwise is.....golf. :dabs:
Each his own, I guess.
I Love Memphis Miller Is The Man
Lakers fan here..
My fav players - Kobe, KG, Shaq, Big Ben, LBJ, VC, Stevie Franchise, and many others.....
I didn't mean to suggest I can't enjoy a good game, but good games (to me) are the exception, and when I think of how off into B-ball I used to be, and how much the game has changed...I guess I miss the old game.Quote:

As to football, I can't stand T.O., Chad Johnson should shut up and play, and players should stop celebrating.
I don't mind enthusiasm, but Barry Sanders is a tough act to follow; he showed more class on the field than most.
are you a band wagon jumper? all those players are franchise players.Quote:

i didn't read the thread, i follow the games but i dl them from usenet so i'm always a bit behind. And games are more fun to watch when you don't know the score. Well that's the reason i didn't read the NBA threads atm :)
