that's gonna pwn the power bill too. lol each of those cards has an external power feed! each of those eats 300 watts. all that plus your computer's psu. that's like running 1000 watts! and if u run ur comp 24/7, that's like keeping ur microwave running 24/7! ahhhh!!!!!

The adaptors only use 1.2amps (120volts) meaning it's only 100watts... it outputs 6.67amps @ 12v so the card is using 80watts.

edit: I guess it must be drawing a lot from the PCI Express slot, unless tomshardware was lying on that last page.:unsure:

and i had a typo. they eat 377 watts. that plus the rest of ur stuff. that's like 700 watts right there. a small microwave
