Why is the forum so sssslllllllooooowwww at loading

Please be sorting it out :dry:

I haven't been here all day but atm it doesn't seem slow. :unsure:

It has been abit slow and if it keeps up I guess I can check with tech later on...

It has been very slow. So slow that I gave up trying to read.

I know that the datacenter is having some issues. I think a lot has to do with lack of support over christmas. Trying to get through to some support people now.

It's good to hear that you're working on it. The slowness is getting frustrating.

Ive just spoken with tech now also as there were timouts. Seems theyve adjusted it as well as run some tests and all seems to be showing fine now. Ive also had them reset the board clock while at it. Hope its all set now...

What data center is it in? Layered Tech?

Nope. Still painfully slow.

At times it's only a bit slow, other times it starts to load a page and stops for 10 to 30 seconds before the rest of the page loads.

And right now when I click a section or thread, nothing loads for 15 to 30 seconds then the page starts to load the top of the page and then it pauses for 2 to 3 minutes before the rest loads.

Not usable to me. I'll try later.

When you click a link and it takes a long timebefore the page begins to load can you scroll to bottom and copy/paste the page loading time info.

For example: Page Generation Time 0.19191sec Query Count 15 queries Server Load 0.60

I'm just curious.

0.31887sec Query Count 13 queries


Checking it out, hopefully will have things sorted out soon.

It's not just here, it's everywhere...all those new computers for Christmas...so it should settle down when everyone goes back to work...in the New Year...

this has been like this for a long time. not long after this forum switched from invision to vb, it started getting slow. this is the slowest forum to load out of the many forums i visit. hmmmmm

Was down for a few good hours and pratically unviewable for a few hours before that.

MySQL crashed last night, i went offline before the support guys were able to help so I sitll don't know what happened.

Everything seems to be moving rather swiftly now, so I guess whatever it was is over now. :P

..just like the old days.. :D ..only the wrong forum-software is VB..nice though the way Brian and Rossco got VB intergrated into this forum...can you do the same with Entity 101?
