Is Surfing A Sport?

Just a little old question for ya's!

Did not post in sports splace as Don't know the answer to this question i've asked thank you for any reply in advance ~..~

I on about the wet type Jp, it must be a sport!

I think when you asked in Sportsworld I said that it was fannying about on an ironing board. Or something like that.

when you get by the sea, first make sure that no one is looking,
then take ya ironing board out of ya bag and have a go!
that's just being silly as people could get hurt if the legs came out

Now on my surfboard I get Air, that can't be done on a ironing utility...

So it must be a Sport ~..~

it was similar Jp,
But mine was better written, it had more detail of how surfing came to the UK and local Surfing on the Norfolk Coast, it went to the press and was great publicity for promoting Surfing in my area.
Years ago there were only 3 Surfers locally now it's just amazing to see the growth of this great Sport with a possible 200+ local surfers of all ages.

I wish everyone would stop rodding Baz (bet he doesn't tho', arf arf).

Of course it's a sport. You compete against other people and get marked on things like technique and, er, stuff. Much like diving, figure skating and gymnastics.
