with my fx5600 ill be scoring a score below 1000
ill get like "2" lol
I'll get it, just so it can humiliate my computer. 'cos its been a baaaad 'puter, lately.
Will it even be able to run all the tests? :unsure:Quote:

oh im def taking this. just to see if i beat that other guys performance. (no worries man you'll make me look like a pebble in the ocean with that card)
Oh boy.
Another unrealistic video benchmark that will bring my (used to be top end) 6800GT to it's knees and make me lust after a (completely unnecessary) 7800 GT.
Great.
a 7800gt isn't really that great of a card either.

Can't wait...I've only just upgraded and I'll do this test and want to upgrade again.

sure it is. a lot better performance with less power consumption.Quote:

lol cheese, you can't really upgraded much more as of now with that card...oh unless you're getting the nvidia 7800 quad:OQuote:

what's your setup mr nails?
yea, the cpu killed me too. well, it's understandable for me. my cpu's 3 years old
I thought the cpu test was supposed to bring your machine down to a crawl. Mine managed 1 fps at most.
I scored 4027, I'll get some screenshots later.
can u guys post some specs?
look in their sigs ffs :mellow:Quote:

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. You want me to do other benchmark tests with the 1800XT and a different CPU?:unsure:Quote:

ok, cool. lol, not sure if i worded what i was wanting to know properly or not. but u answered my question. yeah, so (at least not in benches) the x2 doesn't do to much more for you. it's all that video card of urs. nice ram in ur current rig. 2gb + 512mb vid. games sure do play nicely...?
Yeah, I haven't been overly impressed wih the cpu. My last one was an AMD 64 3400+ and it doesn't seem like that much of a step up. The main reason I've splashed out on the graphics card is for when Elder Scrolls 4 comes out, I want to play that game at full settings.
You'll only start noticing the difference when people start writing multi-threaded software. Otherwise you are only using one core most of the time, so you are effectively running an expensive 3500+.Quote:
