So how fast have you driven in a ground vehicle?
I had a ride in my dad's car, and he did like 180km/h on a country highway with no one around. I think I pissed my pants afterwards.

Oh sry double post but I'm a Coyote w00t w00t!
what's 65mph in merking money?
320 km/h in a TGV.
Yes ago when I was a child. I was riding in the fanciest auto I'd ever been in. An old Bentley. My friends dad was driving. He asked me how fast I thought we were driving. As there was no traffic. I had to guess by the ride quality. I said around 70mph. He said take a look at the speedometer. It said around 107mph. Wow smooth ride.
Is that a typo :ermm:Quote:

Guess californians arnt welcome in this thread :(
Interesting system you got there
1 mph = 1.609344 kph
Ahh sry for being off topic, but how do i view who voted for which option?
I was driving the other day with my permit, and i was driving my cousins car while he was in the passenger seat. He told me to hit 150 i was like are you joking me? So we went to this deserted road he knows that leads to a warehouse and thats all, so noone goes that way at night. So I hit 140 but thats all then hes like okay stop cuz the engine was not sounding good.
Not many cars go over 120mph. I don't care what the speedometer says.
lol what car do were you driving? If you can't even hit 150 on a car, then it cant be a good car...Quote:

I dont drive, with my dad i've gone like 130 maybe.
One of the guy's I was working with for the last few months got caught doing 170km/h in a 70km/h zone
Was in court about it like a month ago but got off with no charges 'cause the police man didn't show up :01:
185.07456 km/h by Dave's formula
so around 260 km/h (160 mph) in my brothers Porsche 996. The German Autobahn is the place to do that.
Btw probably won't be doing that no more after i crashed recently @ 100kmh (62.14 mph) and saw (and still feeling) the damage, don't wanna try to imagine what it looks like at speeds over 200 kmh
120 mph in my Mazda down the M69 .....
how many of you noobs lied?
i've been 110mph, but i've driven 65mph :smilie4:
About 155mph in a re-geared Shelby GT-KR 500, 1968 vintage.
A buddy of mine read about the "Blue Nun", which was a Shelby modified for cross-country racing.
Neat ride...;)
Going by what the speedo shows...
Around 100mph in my '95 Daewoo Nexia 1.5 SOHC (!) up the M1 on the way to Mecca (Elland Road to the heathens).
About 120mph in a hired Pug 306 on the way to Mini-Hollywood in Spain.
Hey a lot of you guys (and girls) seem to know much about cars, so maybe we should ask da admins to start a Auto Section.
160 mph in a 1973 SD 455 trans am
Nearly 150 kph.
70mph on a dual carriageway. :smilie4:
speeding is wrong and stupid. :smilie4:
strange comment cause there are places that allows you to drive as fast as you like, for instance most of the german Autobahn  .Quote:

If you drive fast in a car that's built for it it is pretty safe so not stupid and if it's allowed in the place your at it's not even wrong...:schnauz:
I think he meant "speeding" as in "driving over the speed limit" ;)Quote:

On the way home yesterday, I went 125mph (492kph). My car is being fixed after some old bloke went into the front of it - I was driving a Vectra.
Had to rush because the match was starting at 3pm and I left Plymouth at quarter to one. 150 miles in two hours seemed a tad optimistic but I did it :01:
You are never ever going to do any sort of accounting for me, that's for sure.Quote:

125 in my '92 saab 900s 2.1L non turbo for about 10 seconds (just to see if the car really could max out the speedometer- it did) in the middle of South Dakota at 1:00 in the morning. The rest of the drive was at a lowly 105. Yes, Montanans know how to shorten distances. Damn I miss reasonable and Prudent. a speed limit that adjusts for road conditions and car capability
I almost forgot, 150+ in a cessna, so close to the ground that we might as well have been on the ground- >10ft
that is an avrage of 75- what is the speed limit there? I would expect to go that fast at least while driving on the interstate. I made it from Corvallis Mt to Bozeman Mt (250 miles) in an hour and a half, missed my mom's mark at 2 hours and 15 minutesQuote:

ya, I love wide open roads, take off from Corvallis, drive to Bozeman, 250 miles away and never go below 75 exept when you go through some little town (4), and still never never coming to a compleat stop once.Quote:
