i have over 4500 but i only have 4435 loaded in winamp.

ohhh and i also have over 18 movies. not that many yet.. but i just havent gotten around to making more yet. i download a few that i dont have.. but i make all my dvds into divX format.
4500 is a nice number, myself and many of the soulseek people have significanly more than that, i'm aproaching 10'000 (and alot of em are also owned on CD), but some are beyond that, some not....
I'm sharing just over 4100 mp3s, all ripped at 192kbps, nicely organized, with playlists. ;)
about 660 mp3's :D (dial-up) :( took all my movies and shit off and dont go on kazaa too much anymore cuz of those riaa fuckheads

But its around 3000 albums at lets say 10 songs on each.....lets just say around 30,000 give or take a 1000.But Jetje and a few other guys have a shit load. :o
yeah lotsa people on Soulseek have alot of files, most people have over 1,000 shared.
omg.. if id have put all my music cds on my hard drive i would need more than 200 gigs of space i bet. i have over 600 cds and that would take forever to rip all of them and i dont think there is a point in me bein just one person to share EVERY music song ive ever owned.
just a thought. i would share that if i had someone request it.
on a second note, i REALLY wish there was a way to share directly between friends. like u just type in their id and then it shows their library and you start downloading right away. and vice versa for the other.

I have got 1500 files on my harddisk right now, I am ripping a few cool CD's and I got a lot of CD's I am not gonna rip because they aren't that populair (dutch, or gospel :P ) but my music collection is still growing :D
ow and BTW my soulseek is broken, and when I tried 2 download it again a few days ago, the site was down, so if somebody can give me a good link (or send it trough MSN) it would be really helpfull :rolleyes:
I own over 200 cds... most which havent been ripped yet... so theres about 2000... i have 1000+ mp3s on my hd...
I now have about 900+ mp3's. But that number is constantly on the rise

I only have a small HDD, so don't have too many, though I've burnt a few MP3 CDs. The best way to get a bigger collection is
COME TO SOULSEEK!!!

I'm now at about 15,000. I had to move about half of them onto CD, in order to make more room on my HDD.
My Beatles collection is now at just over 80 albums. :) Bob Dylan is about 30 albums. :) Jimi Hendrix is at over 30 albums. :) Pink Floyd is over 20 albums :) , and Radiohead is at just over 20 albums. :P

I doubt that people with collections of 10000 songs actually play them all. In fact, I would consider this a great start on a collection, but hardly a realistic representation of what you listen to. :huh:

I have an amazing program, PUYJ, and i randomise the whole lot when im working, it's great, cos this way I get all the music i like, but i get different tracks at different times, I don't always like to listen to one album over and over, I like a good selection

Umm, how are you totaling 80 albums, is that their 13 main albums all ripped at different bit rates, different lanuage releases, single LP's?
If I ever get around to getting all the beatles songs put out on record, than I will have like close to 1'000 Total Mp3's.
But right now its only 700, and I have all the beatles songs through S, not counting all my favorites that are after S.
2Pac and/or the Grateful Dead and/or Bob Dylan have the most songs. :D

I have about 5000 songs, I'm sharing 1984 mp3-s right now! but 98% of my 5000 songs are rap music! so I have a nice collection of rap music from different years!
and I listen my songs all the time. I' m listening about 5-7 hours each time(on random mode)! yeah.....peace
