I think it was a Cingular Wireless commercial with Motorola phones suspended in the air......
I found this song from another Cingular commercial for the Motorola SLVR (the one that works with iTunes). I thought the music was quite noice and atmospheric.

I can't even remember what the song sounded like in the other commercial (or too much about the commercial). I just remember I liked it.
It could have very well been Hooverphonics as well since the woman's voice sounds similar.
