hi guys/gals

i found a cool site some of you may want to try out. it tests your internet connection to see how fast it is. i got 506K (i think thats ok, what do u think)

toast.net gave me 1145k
cableone gave me 312k
cable bahamas gave me 945k

i have a 512k cable connection :huh:

probably tried loading the page of 'a''s
this text can be compressed so will give you an inaccurate reading, for my 56k connection, i got 312k on the page of 'a''s

yep, it's pretty quick indeed
for a really popular file on kazaa and about 15-20 users you get around 700-800kB, from servers it's around 1.4-2mB. transferring on ftp between two computers in uni is around 4mB
