OCZ definately, Ive got a OCZ Modstream 450 watt its excellent PSU.
Here's an interesting article on PS:

Depends on exactly how high end your looking for..Highest end would prob be PC Power and Cooling but they are extremely exspensive.
I would highly recommend almost any Antec supply.

^ I sold one of those to a guy yesterday and he wanted to test it to make sure it worked before he took it home. So I hooked it up to one of the testers and you couldnt hear it at all!
Ok, i give you a recent guide to learn more about PSU's.

I recommend OCZ, BeQuiet (very quiet), Enermax (Liberty Series) and Seasonic. You can't go wrong...
If you want bang for the buck, LC Power Supersilent V2 Titan is an excelent choice. I have 1 and it's great - 560W, 36A@12V, 140mm fan, SLI/Crossfire, PCI-e, rock stable! about $70+-
Stay
Antec or Enermax.
i have a $65 limit
i hear sparkle is a good brand
What do you want this to provide power for. Give us a detailed list of components.
Yeah, in the shop I work at we use sparkle 300watt supplies for our custom builds (usually). It is pretty heavy and we never have any problems with them.
Well all depends on your needs of power...
$65 hmmm...i would say if you need reliability, stability and not to much power, Seasonic 380W.
If you need more power, i still recommend LC Power, the model Green Power 550W.
I give yet other alternative: Tacens Valeo 460W, below $65 too, if you can find them.
Stay

im not evan gonna hook up the floppy, i dont use it.
Ok let me clear this up for you.
Example: Not all CPUs use the same amount of power.
I asked for a detailed list of components.
After you tell us what components are involved, it would also be a good idea to tell us if they are to be overclocked or not. Overclocking uses more power.
I overclock nothing, everything runs fine on the psu i have now. My gfx card now requires power from the psu. Says must have 350w 18A on the box.Quote:

or

well?
We sell sparkle 300s for 36 bucks...
Thermaltake is a better brand, but im not too sure about what the diff voltages on supplies mean and such.
i bought the fortron/sparkle.
end topic
I'm gonna agree with Virtualboy... I only PSU brands I trust are Enermax and Antec
And how many different brands do you have personal experience with?Quote:
