The damn places are addictive.
All the waterslides, floating currents, and such.
They are much better than theme parks for the fun factor.

We have a waterpark about 30 minutes from Austin called Schitterbahn (spelling?). I think it's the biggest in the world or country, I don't recall. It's awesome though - good times. :D
I've never been to one, I bet it's great.
We did have a big Tube Slide in our local swim pool until it collapsed one day.
@ 100%, feck, that's well cool
rollercoasters>waterslides though.
as usual, americans are wrong about things
when I was a kid, they used to scare me, never went since
That's not a waterpark. It's a glorified beach swimming pool.Quote:

Yeah I just spent a spent week in Williamsburg, Virginia. I went to Busch Gardens Europe (4th of July fireworks) and Water Country USA and just loved Water Country more than Busch Gardens.Quote:

It's a frigging regional park at that and I've always passed the signs and kept going.

The last time I went to a waterpark, it was at Six Flags back when it was Wild World and I only remember being in the wave pool. It since changed owners to Adventure World and now Six Flags America.
100% there's a beach in the background. Who puts a beach, by a beach?
Here's one I like to go to. There's enough water rides to call it a water park. :)

Surely.
Maybe it's more fun when you've pretended to be a minor to get in at concession prices, I dunno :idunno:

It was remarkably wet as I recall. Had to use factor 1,000,000 as it was also a tad sunny. SGG was a complete kamikaze going down the big chutes. No surprise there really
Did SGG get....do I dare say it......Quote:
