Holy shit! I hate games that force me to rely on timing, I suck at them. This thing looks like a timing nightmare! :O

Ya I saw this a while back, looks simply amazing. Think about the system requirements.

Garrys Mod has a sorta-replica of the portal gun released recently, but things like force and gravity or whatever don't apply when you go through, so it's not quite the same.
Anyone played Narbacular Drop?
It's the (free) game who's designers are now working on Portal, with very similar gameplay. I was gonna give it a go, but Portal looks so fresh and original I'd rather play it without knowing anything about it.
But yeah, this is a real bonus for thise of us who were gonna buy Ep 2 anyway, and the preview video released is jaw-dropping. :D
The game looks very complex.. But its something original and looks fun. :)
yes, game looks like it's gonna be extremely hard. lol, i see lots of broken mice in the future!
lol :lol:Quote:

Played it last night within 3 hours. (with a buddie)
@skizo - There is only one "timing" scene, the end scene.
We did use 3 walkthrough cheats toward the end.
The end credits are hilarious.
THERE IS NO CAKE.

Played this game all the way through. Loved every bit of it. Some parts are tricky but you can manage through them. The ending is soooo funny.
i hate this kind of games i prefer strategie games
cause you can have all the time you need
That was kinda funny and interesting,
"If you dont make it through the testing, Goodbye"
portal is the dogs tits. stupidly enjoyable.
Definitely one of the most enjoyable games i've played in a long while. True, it's very short, but truly fun throughout.
Check out Yahtzee's review of it. It's the final third of the review: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/arti...The-Orange-Box
