I just tried to invite a buddy of mine to TL and when you click the invite link, the webpage says this:

what's up with that? Does anyone know what's going on? because they didn't take away anyones invites...which is silly if we can't invite anyone.

as far as i know the site is doing an upgrade. i had the same problem awhile ago
Yeh they had to install a new tracker, but now its up and running, if you still get the error go to their irc channel and ask an admin for some help.
i went to their irc and the headers all say that sign-ups, VIP, invites, etc. are all down. I tried to ask about it in the channel, but i didn't get a reply. I asked about it in the #tlhelp channel and i think i got booted from the channel. I'm also a super IRC n00b, so that might have something to do with it.

nothing wrong. just close the door. and your invitation is still useful when it is open.
Nothing is wrong. Registrations are closed for the time being. Wait until they open sigups again.

You will have to wait until TorrentLeech opens invite registrations, which will probbaly soon. Your invite will still be valid once this occurs.
Is torrentleech.org currently not allowing the invite system? My friends trying to give me an invite but no luck.

I just got an invite from someone to torrentleech.org and I get the error: "Registrations closed for the time being. Thank you". WTF? If I get an invite should that be coming up? Or is this guy ripping me off for an invite from me?
Just ask your friend to ask someone from the staff :P , maybe something is not working atm ...far as I know, no problems...

Please don't send invites, because if you do so your friend(s) will just receive the message "registrations closed, try again later". Therefore the invitation will not expire, even if it is quoted so in the e-mail your friend(s) received.

nope, not working yet. Although their irc says that it is only a temporary thing, just wait and it will be back soon.
O Ok cause i recived an invited and i tried signing up today and it went threw but said my security code was wrong so i retired then it said my email is in use. so i did password recovery so that i could get my login info and when TL sent me the email i tried loging in with the the username and password it they sent me and it said i invaild User and pass.

Hi I had a big problem today cause someone told me invites were working on Torrentleech so i try and then i tryed to login in im at 1 remaning login try or my IP is banned. Do ur login trys reset ever day?
If you are at one login....you need to login succesfully before the logins reset as far as i know. If you forgot password u should have used the recovery thing.:lol:Quote:

I got an invite a couple of days ago and it's still down. :frusty:
it was up on the 3rd of sept. but its back down, they probably got overwhelmed with the flood of new signups that were invited

I think there is a lot of people in this situation. Unfortunantely only the ppl at TL really know when the invites will be back up.
half of the questions asked here can be answered by reading the news FFS, they said new registrations put an additional load on the servers, and they have closed them until they are sure it will be stable.
