Don't you just love it when....

....someone stops by your house, comes in and says "I need someone to help me lift this off the truck" so obviously being the man of the house I ventured outside to his truck where he only turned up with a gift for me :D
About a month ago I asked him if he could possibly find me a Rod-Hockey table cheap since he works in the games industry.
So he turns up with one almost exactly like this one...

I used to play with my dad on his old one from like the 60s which was fun and even had different teams you could stick on the rods. :D

That's the type I had.

It came with a wooden puck, a magnetic puck, and a "roller" puck.

Fun, fun, fun.

Foosball is better, though.

Mirco tables, Tournament Blue Tops and Brown Tops.

Dynamo and Tornado tables as well.

JP don't even get me started, you should try living in a country where everyone calls it soccer and foosball, neither of which make any sense. I've had this conversation once.......or twice :rolleyes:

The only point I have left to make is if the real game is "Soccer" then why is the table version called "Foosball" being only 1 letter different?

But I'm not getting into this :lol:

Been playing teh hockey this afternoon, had 4 people playing at once, that was ......confusing.

I'm thinking next will be either the 8 foot air hockey table or a pool table, not decided yet.
Probably would be an idea to get a bigger place first cos atm the hockey table is where the dining table normally is..........much to the horror of a certain young lady who likes her furniture :lol:

That looks mint Jonno, it pishes all over my 5cm table top football AND my finger football set.

Now we just have to find room for it. As of right now, it's in the middle of the kitchen where the table and chairs should be (which have been pushed up against the pantry and shelves, blocking them from reach), and whether Jon believes it or not, it's not staying there. Apparently we NEED to get a bigger house to accommodate all Jon's new toys. :rolleyes: His next request? A pool table. Where the hell he's going to put that totally mystifies me.

Pool tables go outside. Well known fact. On terracotta tiles if possible, for the maximum amount of wobble.

If you can get a windy place it's even better.
