Best bet is with Craigslist.

You can get a piece of junk from dell for 250 I beleive. Just order on phone and ask for a discount... hahahaha.

what is your deffinition of "good pc"? are you looking to play games or are you just looking to run internet and MS word?

Save up your cash and just go all out and buy something nice. You wont get much of anything for 250...

Microcenter has $200 off everything instantly if u buy Vonage. I've seen a PC for $50. Without the rebate it would still make your budget, although its a celeron based computer but as long as you use it for basic computing it won't matter.
