Didn't he have a UK driving licence?
If so, he's a safer driver than you sealclubbers cause I took the online theory test thing tesco posted, it was so easy that I pwned it with my eyes closed
VaaarooooOOOOOMMMM!!!111! http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/8715/drive1nv8.gif
@Bo... UK driving licence only good for 3 months here, international for 12 months, besides I only ever had a bike licence. Although I agree, the way the law says you should drive here is much more laid back.........thankfully :D
Jonno
:O Yikes!!!:O
I'll keep a lookout for oncoming cars on the wrong side of the road.
Good thing I'm not in Ontario.
:shuriken:
I think what Nik is most concerned about is my recent continuous playing of GT4 and having watched Tokyo Drift last night :shifty:
Damn hard to slide a front wheel drive Topaz though :(
Jonno
Excellent idea! :01:
Jonno
Yep first atempt :)
Got 2 wrong <_< 1 I agree with the other I was right it was just worded badly IMO but 38/40 is plenty good enough so not complaining.
Jonno
 i must say i went to the UK and never got used to drive right...lol
I'm in driving school right now, and hopefully I'll be the runoverner rather thant he runovernee once I get my G2.:)
Yeah I figured I might do that just to speed up the wait and help cheapen the insurance.
BTW to anyone from UK....never ever ever moan about the cost of car/bike insurance ever again........trust me on this, Canadai may be cheap for cars and bikes and half price of fuel but they more than make up for it with insurance <_<
Jonno
And timezones. Don't forget the timezones :eyebrows:
I think that's classed as dabbling. stop it.
If you sees two lights coming towards you, go in between.
Do I look like a rabbit?
Well I drove at night last night and held up the sacred tradition of good British driving by nearly running a red light, swearing at other drivers, switching to high beam when oncoming traffic would not lower their beams and flipping off a guy talegating me :01:
I don't think I'll have any problems passing my full test :shifty:
Jonno
I scraped a car in the parking lot today, my instructor pretended that he didn't see anything, and so did I. :pinch:
Jon driving?
If ever you come down here, I beg you drive Nikki. :P
Not that I'm one to talk. oh and how much is car insurance up there (for clean license?) wondering how it compares to here
It's extremely expensive here. $700 a year for me to insure my POS with a clean record. I looked at how much it would be to insure a Mustang (not that I'm gonna get one tomorrow or anything, just dreaming), and they want over $200 a month. I'm actually looking for a new car, mine is rapidly dying. Doesn't help when Jon throws it into park without braking either.
I think I'm $1200/year. :( Clean record also.
:shuriken:
over £2000 ($4216) a year:dabs:
£330 per year with 6 points...
I've got a clean licence:snooty:
edit: is that on a pissy 1.6 323F?
Nope...that's on a grunty 2.0 V6 323f with 17'' alloys chum!
you probably have a clean licence because you drive like a granny
