I think newsgroups but I am not into that . Torrents go fast ennough for me
If you're willing to shell out the cash (and it's well worth it) Usenet (newsgroups).
I think torrents are slow and unsafe.

When you talk about best, best can mean a lot of things or all of them together.
I think torrents are the best: they're are quite fast, the sites are easy to use, if you stay in private you are more secure, etc
Well newsgroups has an advantage: you don't have to seed what you take as in torrents...
