THIS site says 15/19. Sounds correct considering my 2003 Ford Supercrew FX4 gets barely better than that. I'm not sure of my city mileage, but my highway is right at 20 MPG.

There had too be a cowboy hat in that picture.

Fixed.
On topic: Not exactly a vehicle that's meant for city folk. :cowboy:
Re: My dad just bought a new family car...
Are the hat, gloves, lariat and boots optional extras or do they come as standard.
Nice looking vehicle though.

If you're purchasing this truck, one should already own them. :snooty:

the mileage is worse, but the fuel is cheaper.
I'm in the market for a diesel to run on straight vegitable oil.
Dream truck would be something like this:

but I wouldn't buy that one, considering I know the guy that owns that truck and wouldn't buy a car from him. besides, as I recall, that one's an auto and I want a manual, plus, I don't want the dual rears
as for the megacab, why would you buy a full size truck 20 something foot long truck with a 6 foot bed?
Re: My dad just bought a new family car...
When you said 'truck' I imagined you owned a proper one.

I got to take it for a spin today...I must say its a much different ride than the jeep lol. Ive never driven a pickup before, and man was this fun.
Its almost as wide as the road..yet it stays between the lines without any trouble.
Really picks up speed quick too. I need to practice parking it though..I was scared to park between two cars in fear of driving over them..so I parked in the back of the lot.
Pulling in isnt the hard part..you just need to go wide. Backing into a spot is..you really gotta pull up FAR past the spot you want.
I only took it to the grocery store and back and I really enjoyed myself..I cant wait to take it for a real drive.
Re: My dad just bought a new family car...
I did most of my driving on my learner's permit in an extended cab E350 cargo van with a bad front end. In other words, as big or bigger than smith's dad's truck, way worse visablity, and the truck wanders back and forth down the road. If you can drive one of those well, you can drive pretty much handle anything smaller than a ten wheeler. you'll get use to the size eventually.
