I'm down to 2-3 cigarettes a day so I'm quitting.
It'll be hard but it's for the benefit of me and any children I may have:huh:
I'll keep you posted how it goes:ph34r:

quitter.
I'm sorry :(
Good luck mate, it's the best thing you'll ever do for you and your's.
Bearing in mind that it's not only the direct health advantages. Children of smokers are very much more likely to smoke themselves.
Not actually smoke their own body, that's just mad talk. Take up smoking like.
GL, Skweeky. It's unfeasibly difficult but even cutting down gives you a real sense of achievement.
I'm still smoking at the weekends in the pub but not outside of it nor during the week. On Mondays, it's a nightmare for me because I want to smoke, but it gets better as the week goes on. I prolly smoke about 15-20 ciggies a week now.
I've heard from a reliable source that smoking will be banned in pubs in Wales next April, so I'll be able to give up totally. Huzzah :01:
/me tries to light her toe
i know im a n00b but here is my 2 cents, first off good luck to you. after 14 years i managed to quit and 10-13-06 was my 3 year anniversary yeah for me but ill have to say to you, for me i still have trouble bieng around it. at times i still crave them like a junkie but i told my wife if she got pregnant i would quit, well my son first son was 2 before i actually did :( but the bottom line is i did and so can you!
BTW ive never had a puff since i quit... i cant, i would just start again.
Good for you, and good luck!
Will power is all you need. :01:
Edit: Unlike *ahem* fartmonger, I know I won't ever smoke again. Some people struggle with it every day for the rest of their lives, but I don't even think about it. In fact, I absolutely cannot stand it now.
A power ring would help.
Smart move! Go for it Skweeky. :01:
Confession time I've give up for 2 weeks now,I'm gonna try to stick to it this time.
Good luck Skweeky
Good luck kid......(you'll be back)
Good luck to you two Griper.
We can keep each other posted in here.

Naw, I stopped smoking in general.
I had a spliff the other day and it gave me nightmares and some feelings of anxiety.
I suppose my body and mind finally had enough of all the abuse
Yaaay another human thats come to his senses!!!!! Now lets exterminate all the smokers unless they quit.....join the good side.
LOL... yeah it will do that sometimes... sometimes i'll do it and feel so depressed i dont want to live... other times i will be laughing with my mates for hours lol.
anyway... i dont do it at all anymore... at the end of the day... it just makes you lazy and tired lol
