iPlay vs. F**

Are these comparable trackers? If so, which one do you prefer, and why?

iplay has almost 4x the amount of users ftn does so you'll get plenty of seeds for your stuff.

ftn has the best pretimes, iplay pretimes are also excellent sometimes but i tend to notice that they always post a few mins after sct, never earlier or at the same time, which makes me believe sct is their axx...

so between iplay and ftn, i would say sct :D

and sometimes ftn torrents are uploaded on iplay...:), but, you're right, ScT is the main axx...

Thanks for the info! How many users does F*N have? Hmm, since pretime isn't a huge deal for me, I think iPlay may be the way to go.

Haha, ScT is way over my head. :lol: I've long since accepted the fact that I'd never get in. Since I've heard so many good things about it, in which specific repects is it so much better than the other 0day trackers, besides the excellent pretimes?

iPlay it's a good tracker with decent speeds on new releases(who cares about pretimes?), so go for it :P

iPlay has much more seeders, but f** has free packs ;)

iPlay...obviously for me :D...100 mbps connection most of the time lots and lots of seeds even for very old torrents...nice community...that group Monik pwnz:D big sf fan :D

but FTN is one of my favourite trackers as well...very nice releases...awesome pres...like that thing with it's fast or it's free :D...and has a nice community also

0-day, it has the latest games, tv, films, music etc.

oh and why people think iplay is better is beyond me, sure it has more users but around half the torrents on ftn only count upload so a good ratio really isnt a problem...

yeah...but u can make a ratio of at least 1 on every torrent u download reasonably easy...so u don't really need freeleech...and there was freeleech on iplay a while ago...they even gave a gift of 10 gb to all users

no, i havnt found that but most of the stuff on iplay has got well more than one seeder so basically you get pretty decent speeds on anything

Oh, and another question: Are there wait times in F**? (If so, what are they?)

I assume that it's not hard to seed there as long as you snatch fast?

F** here too. iPlay is awesome but F** free packs are just unbeatable.

unfortunately iplay uploaders get 95% of their stuff from sct so thats a big minus from me.

they uploaded a while ago the imdb top100 from sct and somehow "forgot" to mention anything about their source. only note was: "iplay for u with love", as if they had compiled the pack.
and of course they got all the credit for someone else's work from their unsuspecting users. :rolleyes:

Let's here some other opinions because it's quite clear you are very subjective about iPlay. :whistling

me?? no way:whistling ... how did u figure that out?? and others don't know that much 'bout iPlay and to say it has 95% torrents from another tracker it's just mean and definitely not true

i still think its a very good tracker, only that finding out about this thing was an unpleasant surprise for me.
take arenabg for example, they too leeched the sct packs and uploaded them on their tracker, but one thing they didnt do is conceal the fact that it wasnt them who made the pack. actually, there was a big nfo reading sct on that page.

which brings us to the conclusion that they couldnt care less whether or not the users knew that they just distributed the pack from the other site. iplay unpacked the releases deleted all references, and tried to pass the torrent as their own effort which is totally shameless on their part.

again, that doesnt make the site any lesser, its still good, but its in those subtleties that i come to appreciate the sites in question.
so this time, lets just say that it is the uploader who's to be blamed for this and not the site.
unless, of course the uploader is a staff member :P
