I'm on Demonoid and was wondering if there was much better than that?
Also, how is the quality from a full CD rip to a 800meg file on a TV?

Yes there are much better Torrent sites out there, in fact Demonoid is one of the worst. Try reading some of the threads in the Bittorrent section, they'll steer you in the right direction.
i hate demonoid, they never let you sign up anyway

demonoid is not a bad site, it has a big number of torrents, and good speeds. just because it is not very hard to get into, doesnt mean it is bad. and also, if it doesnt have the fastest pre-times, it doesn't mean that it is bad. you can find rare stuff there
Demoniod also has a excellent Ebooks section, Ideal to listen to in the car.
They stop me from falling asleep driving home.
What about mininova?
speeds are crap on demonoid, especially on popular files. because its not hard to get into and because theres not anti leeching measures, demonoid is slow.Quote:

well, specialized sites have more stuff.
if you just get OiNK for music (tons of music nowhere else), bitme for education (same), BitMeTv for TV, TL, and Demonoid, than your set.
I guess TL is good enough for me, I just see these private sites that are hard to get into and they got me curious :/
i run about 6 or 7 torrents at once and always get around 500-800 KBs, and the reason its slow is because your ratio prolly sucks. keep it at about 1.5 and you can get anything fast. :ph34r:Quote:

If you are looking for new films especially TS you will waste a lot of time on public trackers. There are too many fake files. Usually they are easy to spot by the comments but lots of people keep downloading them.
If you are on a smaller private site there will generally be users that have access to all recent releases and you can put in a request.
It is true about demonoid that there are lots of H&R and that slows it down.
