I've never done avatars for guys before, just girls, so I have no idea what you're interested in.

But when they're are readjusted and cropped, they're avatars. I'm more introducing style than type. Plus, I'm not giving him any of those, because I've used all of them before. I'm making him new ones. And please don't quote me. Edit the links! I'm paranoid.
