do you have one too, the one with precious yet totally useless, forgotten bits, items parts of parts etc basically a universe of useless chaos?
If all those drawers where to unite, would all the parts fit together?

Yep got shitloads in it,chopsticks which are useless for eating soup with,placemats we don't use,coctail sticks and a thermometer that you put in meat and plug in the microwave to monitor the tempreture of the meat.
Yep, I have one of those. Random crap that doesn't get thrown away but probably should. Since Jon's been here it has mysteriously been filled with packets of salt and ketchup from McDonalds and assorted sauces from the Chinese take out.
We put those items there ourselves, for a reason
"for later"
One needs a "temporary storage" place in the kitchen, problem is they never leave.
Alternative is to simply dump it in the trash.
Every day xxxxxxx amount of items get placed in such a drawer.
