nDVD thing Rocks, Hands down, but if your wanting free it sucks. 14 day trial is worth it
for video and encodeing
Vidnomi player; would put a link but some reason its gone from my favorites, kinda pisses me off

I really like Media Center 9.0. It has tons of features, including number of plays. Check out the 30 day trial here Media Center 9.0.
Windows Media Player 9.0. It may be a resource hog but it's better than almost all other players.

Media Player Classic!
It's a player based on the interface of the old MS Media Player (6.something).
It can also play Realmedia and Quicktime files if you have the codecs installed.

I use winamp 2 (3 is a bit unstable). IMO, it's the best, plus it has tons of free plug-ins, not to mention that it is free. Also, the skins are pretty fun to play around with. I hope I don't sound like a spammer :spam: , I just think it's the best, and you don't even have to pay for it.
