Physically cleaning my laptop
Hi
I want to clean the crap from under my keyboard, but cant get to it. I dont want to remove the letters as i saw someone having difficulity putting them back on.
I smoke and eat over my laptop, and its full of crap, any suggestions (other than dont smoke/eat) to get under the keys?
thanks!
Re: Physically cleaning my laptop
Get a small paintbrush and a can of compressed air.
Re: Physically cleaning my laptop
i've gpt a sunken keyboard, a brush wont get into 1/2 of it...
Re: Physically cleaning my laptop
A vacuum cleaner's soft brush attachment , maybe look at getting a clear cover like for desktop keyboards .
I was going to say turn upside and gently tap it , till I realized it was a laptop . You'd be amazed at the crap I get in my keyboard . :O
Re: Physically cleaning my laptop
Turning it upside down and using the brush and compressed air should work.
Re: Physically cleaning my laptop

You don't use vacuums?
Re: Physically cleaning my laptop
Plug in an external USB keyboard.
Cover your integrated keyboard with Saran wrap after misting lightly with sugar water.
In several weeks you'll have next semester's Science Fair project entry.
Or, you could just buy a new (or used, even) replacement keyboard and lay off the Newports and Doritos but what fun would that be?
