How Do I Get It To Play?

i just downloaded the matrix reloaded off of bit++. There is a problem though. I've never worke with video files that are in image form like bins and cues. I'm not sure if it's svcd or vcd but i know it's one of them. it's the Matrix.Reloaded.TS-ESOTERiC off of bittorrent++ and there are 5 files: eso-mxr1, eso-mxr2's of bins and cues. there is also an info file. I dont know how to burn them to make them play as a vcd or svcd on my dvd player. I thought since because they were image file then i should burn as an iso but it didn't play as an iso and these bins and cues won't burn straight from nero as vcd because they have to be mpeg1 not cues and bins right? How to i get them to play on the dvd? help? sorry if this is another matrix topic yall didn't want but i'm sure yall would count this as a video problem and not another matrix topic.

Nah no problem. Everyone is here to help. Not quite sure what you want to do with the video files though, so Ill give ya some options. Well since the files are already in bins and cues you can actually burn them using Nero. Start up Nero, close the CD Creation Wizard, and then go to File -> Burn Image. Locate the .cue file. And your set. With the files burnt like this thell burn in their VCD format, and 95% of the dvd players out there should be able to play it. Now if ya just want to watch the files on your pc. Download VCDGear , start the program, load the .bin file. And youll have yourself an Mpeg-2 video file. Easy as pie. Good Luck :D

i have encoded and burned many vcd's, but i have never tried to burn vcd images to a cd and have it play. but i got it now. :) thanks

Yeah .bin/.cue files are so much better than having to encode and burn vcds. It is so much less time consuming. Oh and your welcome :geek:

I downloaded Matrix 2 from bittorrent and the cue files wouldn't work. The filename that they pointed to was not the same as the BIN file that was with the files. I edited the .cue file real quick, and everything worked fine. :huh:

How long does it normally take for reloaded to download normally? I got it to start downloading but it said it was going to take 50 hours and the time didnt go down any after a while. Im on a cable connection too so is that a normal download time or not?

Yup that sounds about right, just leave it alone, and it should gradually speed up, typically bittorrent downloads will take anywhere from 12-24hrs on a file that size.

Sorry im a bit new at this .bin/.cue type of movie so please bear with me.

Ok so I got the download completed for Reloaded its call TS.REAL.PROPER or something like that. I got 2 files called CD1 and CD2. Each has 43 rar files but in the CD1 file I have two m2a.part42.rar files. One that just says that and one that says m2a.part42.rar.missing? Can I delete the .missing file? Then my next question is what do I do with all these rar files do I extract all of them? The first rar in each file has a .bin and .cue. The rest just have .bin's in them. Then there is also a .sfv file at the bottom that I dont know what to do with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Download WinRAR to unzip them. WinRAR can replace winzip, winace, etc.

yeah i have that, so what i mean is, what is inside them? bin files, or mpg files?, if so when i burn em to disc i put em in order and burn? has anyone else download this version of m2? if so what is in these rar files?

You must open the 001 file or 01 and extract the .bin/.cue files into an folder. Use VCDgear to extract (yes again) the file to a MPG and you can watch your movie!

there aint no bin/cue files, i know how to do them, there are about 42 different parts in apm-m2a.part01 all the way upto part 42, and these are rar files

This isn't that hard. Inside the big RAR file, are smaller RAR files. Open number 1 (or 001 as the case may be), and extract the files with WinRAR. You'll either end up with an .mpg file, or a bin/cue. :huh:

I used VCDgear to convert my bin/cue files from the 2GB version of Matrix2 to mpeg but when I try to play them on my computer I am getting a message saying "specified module could not be found"...Have I done something stupid?...
