Tl?
You won't find such a tracker for movies.
eMule is a great one! :naughty:
Yeap, I agree. They have millions of movies and peers.
Now if only I could get an invite... :lol:
I know TL is easy to get...but it has a lot of movies and its fast...and very good place for people with low upload speeds but want to maintain a good ratio ...infact i cant fault them at all.
Demonoid
i have been a member of most respectable trackers on the net and i would say Demonoid hands down is the tracker that ur looking for, except for the speed part. next i would say TL, not as many movies as demonoid but the speeds are pretty good. i love KG but its only rare and non-hollywood movies, but they have 1000's of torrents. pisexy, tracker3, and beleave it or not any public site, but of course its a little unsafe compaired to privite sites.
asiandvdclub and x264 specialize in movies, and pisexy is pretty good for that too.
Lol, an OiNK of movies will be super-nice:) I can see it now- 125,000+ films:lol:
Tl/tb
TL = 509 XVID
Soup = 842 XVID
PISexy = 502
Tophos = 1557 Xvid
some other sites, xvid movie count:
936 revTT
830 bitsoup
733 iplay
642 supertorrents
revTT is the best
TL is probably best for movies.
what if oink's did start their own movie site, i would give up every account ive got. :yahoo:
Are you sure? They would have about 5 users on each torrent then... :lol:
nah i would keep some if it was slow, they would be the best for old hard to find movies.
I think that the movie tracker that most resembles OiNK in approach is Goem.
1. KG (For 1000s of obscure movies and older mainstream movies)
2. X264 (Only abt 500 or so with slow speeds but the movies uploaded are pretty great quality-wise - both video and critically)
3. Goem
4. TL for Latest stuff
5. Demonoid for almost everything (but has most public tracker disadvantages)
6. TopHos (Melvin can u tell me wat is the difference between XVid and DivX genres on ur site - is it only the codecs or anythin else too)
Finally, there's no OinK for movies but you could use one of the bigger public trackers as a sub.
pisexy is one of the best site for movies
demonoid is horribly slow. seeding there is very unefficient (i wonder why people upload, i tried once, won't do it again. you gain nothing ) most leechers capping their upload rate.
I use kg and bitsoup
pisexy, both dvds and xvids
I was seeding like a week in pisexy and they put a lot of dvdr torrents..pisexy has a lot of movies, new movies ;)
arenabg - owans all if u talk about xvids , dvd-r whatever...
Somebody needs to create an oink for movies.
It needs to be non-scene but have strict rules on what you can upload. Have it so that you are not allowed to upload something which is already on the site, and with funky rules like oink has on how many different encodes of something are allowed. Thirdly don't allow anything less than DVDrip quality. There are plenty of 0day sites for people that want releases that are in the cinema.
And have sections just like on OiNK (horror/action etc...), and have it automatically categorise everything using IMDB. Just imagine how awesome it would be to be able to download all of the movies with er... Elisha Cuthbert in just by filtering out your download results using her as one of the actors you wanted.
Or maybe listing stuff in order of IMDB rating?
That would be so awesome...
There is definitely a very large gap in the market for a torrent site like this.
Edit: In fact I might consider doing it as a little (actually now I think of it BIG) project for Computer Science. idk though, I don't really know how to write an IMDB parser, and there would have to be quite a lot of additions to the normal torrent site look.
Hanz me and you are starting a new site called 'Oink of Movies' that would be so awesome.
this kind of site would be awesome to movie fanatics....let's see...www.oinkofmovies.com how does it sound :D
:lol: it's funny i clicked the link: www.oinkofmovies.com expecting to see the site ready full of thousands of movies from all time. :D
Wow .. this truly is a great idea .. i hope you guys dont lose interest (btw x264 currently has the same ideology except the torrents and uploaders are too few) ... so basically i think the problem is not in launching a great looking site but to get enough seeders for thousands of movies ... if you guys can manage that i think 2007 will belong to you :D
pisexy #1
Id say it doesnt exist, since movies are much larger, especially the jump from dvdrips to dvdrs, impossible
I keep hearing things about OINK, now I'm kicking myself for not getting a membership when I had the chance.
