Dont know bout everyone else but i use oink and irc. Oink for the quality and speed and mIRC for security.
usenet or emule
for whole albums or compilations i use trackers and for single mp3s FrostWire.
torrents, irc and usenet. Depends really whats available and where and how quick I want it.

limewire, i admit there isn't much sources there but it's alrite
gnutella network is the best for mp3s and shareza for downloading from it.
also use gnuetella network. The best place for single mp3s.:)

Rapidshare. Not really a big music fan, but I usually find what I need on RS.
I mostly use public torrent trackers to download discographies of bands I like and soulseek to download single songs or albums or to find older and rare stuff.
I use dc++ to get whole albums! when you find a good hub it works great!

Gnutella network and its p2p clients are best way to grab single mp3s.
Definitely Gnutella network (I use BearShare)! Many mp3 files and good speeds.
Oink is shit hot
Basically the only thing I download is entire albums by means of bittorrent.
