to = from here to there.
two = give me two eggs.
too = too many spelling mistakes.
:P
why do you think that 120000 members will sink oink?
my view is, provided that the tracker can handle all this traffic,
the more members>the more leechers>easier to give back what you get
and of course more members means more uploads and thus more music available for download for all of us
They probably know what they're doing.
why is 120,000 too many?
they just dont go from 0-120,000 members overnight, they have to gradually increase the numbers.
120k members and people still complain about no one leeching off them
as long as their system will be so good as it is right now, they can have 200k members with no problem...
I think public trackers generate more traffic than Oink, so I'd guess they'll be attacking those first... no?
and what aboiut TL then?
sth about 400,000 i would say
heheh
my point exactly thank you! i was so out numbered in this thread haha :) do you guys remember? torrentbits, dvdrbits, elitetorrents, or torrentit? all taken down because they got too popular.
yeah but the thing is oink is unlike any other private torrent site in my opinion and TL is a very average there are about 10 other sites out there that are exactly the same on every level. so im not to worried about losing the TL account.
i'd love to be invited back to Oink, the more members the better. I have still not been able to get my account back after it being deactivated due to inactivity, because I moved away from home for a new job.
As long as new rare music is being promoted, and it encourages people to discover new bands and buy their music, then everyone wins!
The more users the merrier :) more leechers=better ratio.
can't say im too worried about it. They seem intelligent enough to be able to know what is good for their own tracker and im sure if they really thought if having 100k+ members was going to be bad for the tracker they wouldnt have even considered it
120,000 members/121,000 torrents....im happy, will enjoi it till the end
edit: my bad, almost 122,000 members
edit: and 1,277,963 peers lol never really noticed what a monster oink has become
as long as they keep the users organized, no limits are ok :)
