Tired of chasing F*N/SCT

Maaaan, it's exhausting trying to get into F*N and SCT.

I actually just switched over to Torrents from emule @ christmas when the emule indexing site i use (fileheaven) had an extended period of downtime. Luckily I have a decent line (12Mbps down/1Mbps up) so I can seed pretty well.

Since then I've managed to get onto the following sites: BitMeTV, OiNK, TL, RevTT, TB, FSC, FileMP3, X264, SITR, BitHDTV, HDBits, BitMe, PiSexy, rSR, TD, FZ, ST, WB, iPlay, FL & KG.

I don't trade invites as I think they should be just given if you feel the person can be trusted.

Anyway, I feel like giving up... I've managed to get into some awesome sites like BitMeTV/OiNK/TB/RevTT/TL/FSC and its really changed my downloading habits ;)

Thats a noble way of going about it. But at the same time i think invite trading is somewhat of a cutthroat business.

If you want to get the top trackers, its seldom someone will just hand it to u as a freebie. U say u just switched to Bt last Xmas. There are people here who been torrenting far longer than u and still havnt been able to get those elite trackers. Give it time and trade smart. youll get there eventually

I uploaded like a beast @ one particular site which allowed me into their invite section. plenty of freebies there.

The rest were just open signups.

well be prepared for a long wait. When i wasnt a member, i kept checking their site for almost a year hoping for an open signup. Im sure u all know how that turned out.

I got my SCT for free about half a year ago... ;) So I think it's all about finding friends out here and then if someone get smth they will definitely share it with you... So don;t give up that easy. :)

FTN wasn't always this rare. They just became full, and after that, they changed the req for invite to FTN Power (200 up), and you have to request the invite (it doesn't come automatically). It's good in theory to encourage that only good members are invited and there are less invite traders. However, if they continue like this, I see it as being FTN's downfall. There will be less and less active users to keep leeching and seeding the torrents.

In ScT, the spaces for the users fill up in seconds. However, in FTN, there are less and less users.

If you select colts.... bla bla.
i think a lot of people get invite in one week.

Yep i chose the colts to win and if they do then i get an invite :) i promised it to my best friend at least i know for a fact he will be a good seeder and not get me banned.

Oh, I just saw that. But I don't follow football. :( I'll consult my friend. She should know; she watches it often.

Let's hope so, because I don't want FTN to fade into obscurity because of lack of user participation. Let's hope that people won't waste their invites by inviting cheaters, and hope that the invited people are active and don't get banned because the trade was too obvious.
