my fastest is also about 700kb but mine is only a 6mbit connection.
are you getting cheated by your isp? -.-
mine is 310 but i don't know how big my connection is. What's an easy way to find out?
mines 719kb/s on ~6mbit, so are you sure you dont just have the max speed your phone line can support up to 8mbit trevorob?
Im paying for up to 8mbit but can only get ~6 where i live.

like when you bought the connection, i'm sure they advertised it as a whatever Mbit connection...2mbit, 10mbit or 100mbit
I hit over 1 Mb/s last night on a torrent on FSC. I think that was the fastest I have seen 1 torrent go.
mine is 250..lame 2mgb coinnection!
650 on 5 mbit connection.
320 on 2.5MB
