Filmbits is good for newer stuff
If you don't care for having to log into and maintain 10 or 15 private trackers, the best place for older, obscure movies is mininova
You can many find interesting things also @ demonoid ;)

i use ScT,tl,revtt &fsc mainly for xvid as i stopped dl'ing dvd's long ago as it a waste of bw and easier with dvd player that supports divx/xvid
