I have 7 right now, which is actually small for me, but I'm focusing on a specific tracker.
I average 20, though on rare occasions I've had upwards of 50 going at once before.
I currently have 46 active torrents. Some few days ago I had about ~120, but utorrent crashed, resume.dat became unreadable and I lost all of them :P
