Defo Jack Nicholson, without a doubt
Michael Reilly Burke in the flim "Bundy". Great performance IMO. Even though Bundy's actions in real life are really deplorable.
i kinda think steve buscemi.....he' just got that look  about him
I Have 2 agree with the Ted Bundy actor he gave an amazing performance
Hmm, crazy guy,
Forrest Gump -> Tom Hanks
Can't get anymore crazier than that (unless you want completely psycho  )
Are we talking about mentally Crazy? or just Crazy, crazy would be Jim Carrey!

You are forgetting: Eddie Murphy He played in so many good Comedy's.
The Nutty Professor
The Nutty Professor II
Shrek
I Spy
Daddy Day Care
Dr. Dolittle
Dr. Dolittle 2
and many more
Joe Peci in Goodfellas
Klaus Kinski ( now, the question is: was he really good playing crazy or really crazy? )
how did I forget Quenton tarintino in dusk till dawn crazy crazy
I really liked Ed Norton in fight club, he portrayed himself brilliantly as a psycho yet maintains a certain level of blissfull naivity about it. To understand, you would have to see the movie.

I would say Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast....
He was a true psychopath.
Brad Pitt in "Twelve Monkeys" was brilliant as a nutjob. Not really that great of a flick but he did an excellent job.
Dennis Hopper in "Blue Velvet" was pretty good too.
