This is Christ of St John of the Cross. It's in Glasgow Art Gallery (when not out on loan). It's absolutely magnificent :earl:. You have to realize that it is a huge painting, as opposed to the poster your mate has on his wall.
To be fair I think Dali is fantastic.
Agrajag if you like his work, read his diaries they are better.
His shot from above is indeed genius.

Did you notice that the shadows don't actually make sense. The two just over half way up the LHS would have to come from different light sources.Quote:

Start in the bottom left and you see evolution. Move up a bit and you see Adam and Eve. Work round from there.
