I've logged around 1920 - 2160 hours of World of Warcraft if that counts.
But for a non subscription based game hmm... well all my favorites are out of date since they are pre-WoW
Basically what I'm trying to say is don't play world of warcraft.
CS:S ...not necessarily the best but the most addicting game I've ever played.

but more recent top game was Oblivion - bloody love that game, i need to reinstall it and do the expansion.
most addictive game for me is CSS (counter strike source) palyed in a high level clan in the past but now i jsut chill playing on public servers.
