I could watch 300 three hundred times. I've watched LOTR once and could care less if I ever see it again.

300 is a great movie but not like LOTR
i can't compare bet them as LOTR will rock. LOTR is the best movie i have ever seen. maybe 300 comes after it
btw: nice idea mYm but its not easy to compare bet LOTR and any other movie

I dislike LOTR. The 3 movies were excellent, don't get me wrong. I dislike it because people who like it make it sound like its the best damn movie ever. Thats including my immediate family, my gf and perhaps even my dog.
Anyway, I pick 300 over LOTR obviously. Easy choice for me as i'm a sucker for those movies with epic battles and those that glorify the idea of warriors without making it fantasy-like like LOTR.

LOTR was definitely more in depth and more enjoyable to watch. 300 lacked the depth, intuition, and it left questions unanswered especially at the end of the movie. The blood, gore, and sex of 300 is what most people loved about it.. nothing more.
