Automerge in The Drawing Room

It really is a pain. Oft times one wants to quote / answer a couple of people. It's not spamming or anything, just a logical way to go about things. Automerge makes it look like a dog's dinner.

I commend to j2 that he take this up as an issue and champion it's removal from TDR.

I'd appreciate it if you chaps could have a re-think on this one. It really serves no purpose in that section and is only an annoyance to those who post there.
