Who thinks SCT is over rated

I will keep it short and simple.

99% of the members on SCT have come from here so do u not think that the invite section on here has made this site,give it a few months and there will will be another just like. it if u look on other sites that offer invites u will not find SCT.I dont think sites like this deserve a rating untill they have established them selves like oink or bitme how long has this site been around 8 months or something if u wait 1 hour longer u can get anything this site has to offer of torrentleech.

well u tell me how long has sct been about,and most people who have accounts there have come from people on FST.

90 weeks = 22.5 months ish. there are only invites around as they gave everybody some a few weeks ago. before that you would be hard pressed to find them.

well it may have been about for 2 years but a few months ago did u see it on the what sites are worth thread no ! so that just adds to my argument FST made this site.

maybe your eyes were playing up? do u download much porn?

yes i do download porn but any new torrent u can download of SCT give it an hour and u can download it of TL or REVTT but i guess u are a download junkie so u have to get it before anyone else gets it.

it's only overated because it is difficult to get an acc, it was better a while ago, pre times i mean. Even though pre times are still ok. The speed is still the same though. I only use ScT for speed, always max speed on everything if it's new stuff. It is not the best for content, there are sites with alot better content. Though the speed thing is not a big problem for me anyway since my speed is not the best around.

Thankyou this is the kind of answer i was looking for somthing constructive (a genuine answer) At least someone has got a constructive view on it rather than i can get it fast or i can download it fast.

And i will say it again without FST this site would just be another site

well i can only think no one has an answer because they feel they have the best
tracker they can get or they are scared if they do they may get busted by SCT .if the account means that much fair play but i think SCT stinks

ScT is not overrated thats for sure. The difficulty of getting on this site is adequate to the content and I think it is not to hard to get there comparing to other high-leveled trackers like UK-T FTN, Exigo etc.

So to keep it simple, this site is for me the best among those highlevels because first it is pretty possible to get there, second it is not worse then others.

no ii dont mean to offend but gold stars mean a more trusted member where did a off yellow come from.

I don't think ScT is more overrated in terms of content. I agree that it is just another tracker and FST has hyped it up a bit, but still ScT is worth the hype.

The trackers which are really over rated are UK-T, FTWR, etc.

TBH most 0day trackers has the same content only a few around thats offer some special packs or non scene rlz so if you have EX:TL or .... you dont mess nothing.
For members how cares abt pretimes we are nots in a race site or a FXPboard .
Torrent is P2P so pretime doesnt hav any value :P.

You have no idea how much is just one hour. If you have seedbox and have some releases an hour ahead, you can make a really good ratio on other sides without really worrying about it too much by just seeding what you already have. Also if you have ScT, in most cases you are eligible to be an uploader for many sites.

Having pre-time lower then 5 minutes is considered to be a good scene tracker. If pre time is higher then 1 hour then it's still 0day tracker but not really exclusive one.

Most XVID and DVDR is not under 5 minutes anymore, only really TV even comes close to pre times under 5 minutes now. In any case tv shows are the only thing i really care about fast pre times tbh.

Ha! Believe me there are such websites, for example PolishTracker has pretime lower then 5minutes for PAL DVDRs. ScT has really low pretime sometimes the lowest you can possible get because the releases are directly uploaded from scene ftp servers.

Ya i know, PT has good pretimes usually always between 1-10 minutes. There i only look the XVID/DVDR though

Things that are worth seeding are still on sct.


Don't mistake a torrent with 3 seeders for a torrent that has no seeders. I have gotten full speeds off of those kind of numbers before.

No, but I don't know who uses sct for the pretimes anymore. It's all about content. Always has been for me.

OK can I ask a dumb question....what does SCT and TL stand for?? I must not be too familiar with most private torrent sites...anyone gimme a partial url for thos so I can see what they are about?

ScT = Scenetorrents

TL = TorrentLeech

Definitely not overrated. That site has many active members, and most of them have a seedbox too meaning downloads are VERY fast. Pretimes are good, the contents are good too!
