does anyone know how to do partial downloading on a server...thru the webui or vncviewer?
yep... with utorrent (you need to access with vnc) start to download when u want to stop and only seed, enter the files category and right click each file and press stop downloading...

u can select partial files for downloading in vncserver just like utorrent in windows
Even better, pick some appz from torrentleech or torrentbytes packs and upload them one by one at oink. I upped 30gigs in 24hrs with this

My ratio is not even more than 5 at OiNK & I never download a new popular torrent, but as long as you seed, it's not that bad

With leeware 20 GB HDD, I can only do partial seeding. I have also seen that when you download the full torrent, the upload speed increases.

Is this a good strategy for those who don't have a seedbox? I have a hard enough time as it is uploading my own torrents past one copy.
well, its going to get leeched for a while, you may want to leech the smallest dmg or something.

if i were there from the beginning, i would have uploaded something around 300GB
now only around 130GB :D
